Process Improvement. We know that organisations have different cultures and values. We don't expect everyone will want to work in the same way. We have a core set of practices that we think are pretty good, but that doesn't mean we will try and make everyone adopt all of them all at once. We work with our clients to develop an approach that will work for them.
Project Support. When adopting a new development process, teams need the right kind of support. We can provide a tried-and-tested combination of formal training, to get everyone aligned on how they will be working, and hands-on mentoring support from people who have been through the process before. It takes experience to distinguish whether teams are struggling because they don't understand the business or because they are not applying the technique correctly. Without proper support, teams will often give up and revert to what they know, or at the very least they will create their own non-standard interpretations of the process.
Application Development. We expect you to challenge us to prove our capability. We can work with you to deliver software applications using our own team. This will help you to meet the needs of your business and give us the opportunity to show you that our approach really does work. We can show you how to benefit from the tools you already have, or to select a new one. We can establish standards, help to integrate CASE tools use into your development process and deliver training that will improve productivity.
Training. We don't think it is viable to attend a 5 day course on "Business Analysis Techniques" and then be expected to get right on with the job. We have developed an advanced training approach which follows up formal classroom courses with hands-on workshop-style practical courses and on-project mentoring. We think our training approach delivers better results for individuals and reduces project risk.
